The 2009 Dragonfly Festival was great despite the rain!  Thanks so much to everyone who came out and visited despite the torrential downpour.  We were dissapointed that we had to cancel several tours, but those that were able to make one, had nothing but good to say.  We had more activities this year than ever and we expect to improve on that every year. 

We expect we had 2000 to 2500 people attend this year.  We also had many more people join our Friends group while at the Festival. If you are interested in helping us improve the refuge, please visit our membership page.

Congratulations to Ashlyn Knight for her winning entry in the annual Dragonfly Festival Elementary Art Contest!  This is the second year in a row she has won.
